Meet Dr. Jakob Zigulis (Sandusky, OH)

Jakob Zigulis, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 2024. He studied both Science and Chemistry at Bowling Green State University in 2020.

Dr. Zigulis is certified in CPR, NBEO I, II, and III, and the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He has a special interest in glaucoma, driven by his passion to preserve vision for his patients.

Having been surrounded by optometry his entire life, with both of his parents being optometrists, Dr. Zigulis developed a strong belief that vision is often taken for granted.

What Dr. Zigulis enjoys most about being an optometrist is the opportunity to build relationships with his patients and make meaningful connections. Outside of work, he enjoys video games, working out, and spending time with his dogs and fiancé.
